Recent Activities

As I promised here are some more pictures of the activities that we have been doing recently. Just before school started I heard about the Scottish Festival that was going on at The American West Hertiage center. It is a place that lets kids see what life was like for early settlers in the valley. When we got there it was just starting to rain so there wasn't very much going on. The band that was playing had to move indoors and so we sat there listening to then for an hour or so.   While we were walking to the main event area we stumbled across this pan for gold activity center. We didn't find anything worth keeping.

This is what the weather was looking like when we were leaving. All the food vendors were closed because of the storm.

On the way out we found the petting area. Dan had a blast!
This weekend we went over to Bear Lake to our Bishop's cabin. The fall colors in the canyon were so beautiful.

This is the place that we stayed the night. We set up our air mattress in the loft across from that top window on the right side of the house. We were able to see a beautiful sunrise for our sinking bed. The air mattress we found out has a hole in it.
This is the view of the Lake from the house. I wish that we could live there.
On our way home we stopped and picked up Dan's tree stand.

We'll we hope that you have a great week!
