Adventure in the Tetons

Ok, so there is going to be alot of pictures of this trip that we kind of decided at the last minute to do. We went to the Grand Teton National park. I got off work early and we drove to Jackson Hole where we stayed the night. on Friday we did a nine mile hike. It was pretty cold the whole time that we were there with the high being about 55. We did get rained on a little and then snowed on a little but it was really great. Before we got there we knew that it would be cold so we went prepared with rain gear and some thermals. There are so many pictures, but here are a choice few that we have picked out to share.
This deer was at the visitor center and didn't even flinch as we drive by it.

This Mama bear and her baby were right next to the road. The Mama was very calm and wasn't bothered by the group of people that pulled over to see them. The baby was not really sure what to think her ran around all over the place.

This was a sign at the entrance of a museum. Very strange.

This is what the top of the mountain looked like when we got to the top.

This is what it looked like on the way down. I can't believe the change.

 Elk heard
On Saturday we did another hike about eight miles long. We went to Cascade Falls, then higher to Inspiration point, then further up the canyon. I was really sore from the hike the day before and my calves are still a little tight today. But, it was worth it! The view was amazing and got to spend time together.
